Athens MidDay Team 2025-26

 Jenna Bolton
is a third-year Journalism: News and Information major with a certificate in Social Media. She is passionate about telling compelling stories and gaining hands-on experience, and she stays actively involved in campus life. She is deeply committed to her studies, and she is always looking for new opportunities to grow and enhance her skills in journalism. Her end goal is to become a Multimedia Journalist/Reporter/Anchor.

Dan Gray
is a senior broadcasting student on the News & Information Track at Ohio University. His reporting specialties are trauma and politics, as he feels his journalistic duty is to give a voice to those who are typically silenced or looked past. In his free time, he enjoys singing and driving with no particular destination.

Zoe Blankenship
is a senior Journalism: News and Information student on a broadcast track with a minor in Sociology. She previously participated in Ohio University's Scripps in D.C., during which she interned at C-SPAN. When she is not doing journalism, she enjoys acting on stage with the Lost Flamingo Theatre Company. She also loves hiking, fishing, spending time with friends and making art. Peyton Hodge
is a senior Journalism: News and Information major with a minor in Interdisciplinary Arts and a certificate in Podcasting. She plans to become a magazine reporter covering performing and fine arts. Peyton has worked as the multimedia and website content manager for Athens MidDay and NewsBreak.

​is a fourth-year Journalism News and Information major with a minor in Sports Management. He has a passion for storytelling and hopes to continue his career in broadcast journalism. When he is not doing journalism, he enjoys watching sports and spending  time with friends and family.

Isabelle Isco
is a fourth-year Broadcast Meteorology major. She is the NewsWatch Lead Weather Forecaster and has been working at WOUB since her first year. When she’s not reporting on the weather, she enjoys being outside and enjoying her last moments in Athens, Ohio.

​is a senior in the B.S. in Journalism: News and Information program from Cincinnati, Ohio. Kylie is an aspiring reporter with a passion for impactful storytelling, government accountability and community advocacy. Kylie is a Cutler Scholar and an award winning student leader.

Bianca Grim
is a senior at Ohio University majoring in Journalism with a focus in broadcast and entertainment journalism. She has experience in reporting for Athens Midday and WOUB, producing digital content and covering sports with Gridiron Glory and Hardwood Heroes and  reporting on news stories with The Post.

Jack Zwiezinski
is a fourth-year Journalism: News and Information major with a minor in Sports Management. He hopes to go into broadcasting as a sports reporter. When he's not covering sports, Jack loves to focus on community-centered stories. He is from Central Ohio, outside Columbus, but is a Cleveland sports fan. Jack loves to write, read and watch movies.

is a fourth year journalism student at Ohio University with experience in broadcast news and strategic communications. She has worked as a News Intern with WJLA-TV’s National News Desk, producing broadcast-ready stories. Tessa is passionate about storytelling and news production. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career as a news producer.

J Pressley McIlwain
​is a senior at Ohio University studying Journalism News and Information. He is from Chino Hills, California and is an aspiring sports journalist. On campus, he is involved in multiple student organizations on campus including the Black Student Cultural Programming Board as well as his own fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
